For all first-time clients booking baths or cuts, a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the estimated groom fee will be required via Credit or Debit to secure an appointment. Deposits for our regulars and rotational clients may or may not be collected at Dirty Dogs Mobile discretion. Deposits may be transferrable for up to two reschedules at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you reschedule more than twice, cancel, or no show, you forfeit your deposit. No exceptions.
We like to make booking as transparent and simple as possible for our clients. We strive to avoid a bunch of costly add-ons and options that most groomers have to drive up prices. In saying that, all booked appointment prices are not final until after the groom is completed. Additional charges may be applied such as behavioral, de-matting, flea removal, heavy de-shed, impacted hair, extreme shave-down etc. We will always notify you first, if any of these techniques will need to be done to properly groom your pet. You will have to option to say no and terminate the grooming. You will forfeit your deposit and owe any fees for the work we completed up to that point. All services must be paid in full, upon completion of the groom.
We at Dirty Dogs Mobile believe in a cage-free environment. This is true for our shop, courtesy shuttle van, & mobile grooming trailer. Our shop has a community den for dogs that play well with others while waiting for you to pick up. There is room to roam, play with toys, play with new friends, and chill out on super comfy pet furniture. We will ask you...but it is very important we be made aware if your furry friend is not a fan of other furry friends.
In these cases we have a private grooming room, we call the Dirty Dogs suite, for your dog or dogs that like their me time and to be left alone. Just like me before 10am.
We love you too, just not as much as your pets. For your safety, our safety and your pets safety you cannot enter the mobile grooming trailer at anytime.
You're welcome to come into the salon to drop off/pick up your pet and check out our digs anytime...Just not while we are grooming your pet as your pets tend to be excited and anxious while your there which causes an unsafe environment for everyone. If you'd like to wait during your appointment we will kindly ask for you to do so in your car. We can even bring out a hot coffee!
Salon Early Drop Off - Please do not drop off your pet to our salon more than 15 mins prior to your appointment. If you have to, call/text us to make sure we can accommodate or have to reschedule.
Salon Late Drop Off - We offer a 15 min grace period for lateness from the start of your appointment. Because it throws our entire schedule off, after 15 mins you will be asked to reschedule or considered a no show forfeiting your deposit.
Salon Late Pick Up - You will be notified at least 15 mins prior to us finishing your pet. Once your pet is ready, we offer a 1 hour grace period for you to pick up your pet. After 1 hour, you will be charge $15 for every 15 minutes of wait time. We close at 6pm. If your pick up is delayed past our closing time, you will be charged $3 per minute.
Courtesy Shuttle & Mobile Appointment Pick Up/Drop Off - You'll always be notified when we're on our way. We will wait for 15 mins max at your house if we're picking up your pet or mobile grooming your pet at your house, from the time of appointment. After 15 mins, your appointment will be cancelled forfeiting your deposit.
When we are returning your pet via courtesy shuttle or mobile grooming in front of your house, please make sure someone is home. If we have to wait in excess of 15 mins from the time we notify you that your pets finished, you will be charged $15 for every 15 mins of wait time. If it's after closing time which is 6pm you will be charged $3 per minute. We love your pets but cannot board them overnight. We all have pets and kids too!
All pets being serviced must be current on rabies vaccinations. Please note Dirty Dogs Mobile does not contact vets on behalf of clients. Please wait 48 hours after any vaccine to schedule an appointment.
We work really hard to keep our salon, shuttle, mobile trailer, groomers, & other pets, pest free! Please treat your pet with a quality flee treatment before booking any of our services. If we uncover fleas, ticks, on your pets we will treat your pets ourselves immediately incurring a mandatory charge for the treatment. You will also need to treat your home and your pets for the next 90 days before booking your pet with us again.
Dogs with severely matted coats require extra time and attention. The severity of matting may require the dog to be shaved, as the only way to humanely remove mats is to clip the coat off all the way down to the skin. After effects of this procedure sometimes pose risks which include but not limited to itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, and failure of the hair to regrow. If you agree to your pet being shaved their will be added time and cost. You also agree that Dirty Dogs Mobile is not responsible for the potential after effects of shaving down.
Your pet's safety and comfort is our number one priority. Although accidents are very rare, there is always a risk when handling animals. We use extreme caution and care in all situations, but grooming equipment is sharp and possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, kwiking of nails, etc. In most cases, this occurs when the dog is wiggling, moving around, or struggling against the groomer. In the event that an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident. If we feel it is necessary, we will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet with the closest vet clinic and the owner agrees to pay for all expenses.
If you own an aggressive pet or a pet who has bitten someone in the past, please do not book an appointment with Dirty Dogs Mobile. Client will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pets. In offering grooming services, you are agreeing that Dirty Dogs Mobile will not be held liable for any and all damage, loss or claims to pet, personal or real property. For our safety and your pet's safety, Dirty Dogs Mobile has the right to stop service if your pet gets aggressive and cannot be safely handled.
As a Dirty Dog Mobile client, you consent the we may take before and after pictures of your pets and post them on all of our social media and advertising platforms.
